Working alongside the leadership team we undertake a thorough review of the quality of education in the school. This will enable leaders to identify and prioritise aspects for improvement as well as confidently create a self evaluation report based on secure data and information.

The capacity of leaders to build a robust knowledge base about the school by undertaking learning walks, lesson observations, work scrutiny, data trawls and discussions with pupils is at the heart of any strategic improvement strategy. The current 'trend' for undertaking 'deep dives' is yet another addition to this tool kit. However, seeing the school 'through the eyes of an inspector' and  establishing meaning and discerning 'trends' from this information can be a challenge. Our coaching and moderating approach to supporting this work can help leaders to take their next steps in developing these skills and using the strategic and important information gained.

Being well prepared to talk with Ofsted is a vital step for leaders at all levels to undertake. The common and compelling narrative that emerges ensures that having an inspection can be an empowering and positive experience. The support we provide for this professional development is provided by experienced inspectors and Headteachers who have recent experience of the inspection process 2021/22.

Through working with senior leaders, DSLs and other staff we will robustly evaluate, challenge, as well as evidence and develop, the schools current culture of safeguarding.
