 Meet The Team

 Ralph Batten
  Ralph is Firewolf Learning Networks Director of Quality and Standards and Lead Trainer.

Until recently Ralph worked with Buckinghamshire LA as quality assurance and standards lead for their innovative and successful school improvement strategy. As an independent lead consultant he is responsible for supporting schools as monitoring officer both before and following inspections.
Before this Ralph was Serco Inspections Assistant Director of Inspections where he had responsibility for the Ofsted  Inspection Work force ensuring new inspectors were trained and accredited as well as overall  responsibility for some 1300 Ofsted inspectors' professional development.
  Ralph still has responsibility working with several organisations for developing and delivering strategic support programmes to senior school leaders from both the UK and internationally.
Prior to this Ralph had a very successful career as a headteacher in the London Borough of Lewisham before being appointed Senior Lecturer in Education at Christ Church College Canterbury. He also worked for several years as part of the States of Jersey Schools and Colleges team supporting school leaders as well as with The National College of School Leadership where he was director of the Leadership Programme for Serving Headteachers (LPSH) programme in the South of England and also for LPSH Wales working with the Welsh Assembly Government. For several years Ralph was a Director of a MAT, which he helped to set up, serving Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset schools. He is also a published author of children's books.
